I have recently been promoted to maintenance supervisor, and part of my new role is managing our Fiix program. I would like to start off with a strong foundation of knowledge as I begin my journey in Fiix.  I believe that starting with a good foundation will lead my team and I into a strong, successful future. Parts Management 101: Taking Control of Your Inventory

  I was hired for a new Inventory position. 3-4 months ago we had all existing items deleted to start fresh. I’ve been physically organizing our Maintenance Storage, while learning what our items are, while learning to use Fiix, so we can use the whole system as smoothly as possible. So far it’s covered wagon on a mountain pass smooth. Kidding! It’s not as bad as all that, but it would be nice to get ideas for smoothing the rough edges and be ready to implement next steps.

  These seem to go together for our next steps. Get our site, with two other sites, and all users/teams, unified to organize our system and use it consistently. Get the whole company using all aspects of Fiix. Shine light on what/where/how it’ll make it all better and get some technology begrudgers to stop feet dragging and get on board.

  This one looks like it ties everything above together to get to using every aspect of Fiix. I’m not a beginner or advanced user, but somewhere in between and wanting to know more about all of it. I wish I could do the “Beginner Bootcamp: Building Your Foundation”, same day/time, to fill in a few things, and then this one was on 10/7.

Getting Started with the Fiix API

As we use FIIX to collect more information on maintenance and parts, we need to learn more about how we can use this data. These classes will help us better understand how to access the data to answer operational questions, streamline processes, and more quickly get some of our spreadsheet data into FIIX in bulk.

Parts Management 101: Taking Control of Your Inventory

We started using some of the part/supplies features this year, so this class will help us gain a good understanding of the fundamentals while we are still in the early phases of inventory implementation.
