Better safe than sorry: How to improve health and safety with maintenance software

Even minor accidents can have a profound impact on everything from productivity and morale, to the environment and individual lives, and lead to injuries, fines, lawsuits and more.An overreliance on reactive maintenance is a major cause of accidents in many production environments. In fact, one study found that corrective maintenance leads to twice the number of accidents than preventive maintenance. Garbage. Rubbish. Litter. Trash. Excess. These concepts are relatively new in our modern world. Waste was often synonymous with barren land and had nothing to do with disposal. Garbage — the act of throwing something away — was introduced in the early 1900s. Now, it’s a regular part of life— we buy, we use, and then we throw away. This is so common that we have entire waste management systems with teams of people and machinery dedicated to our garbage. This used to be my job. I would advise the public on where to put items when they were ready to throw it out. Glad to Be Here!

I’ve recently started with the City of D’Iberville parks and recreation department. As my guys began coming to me with concerns about the paper process they are using currently. So, I started searching the net for ways to streamline our process. With mowers and vehicles and equipment that needs constant maintenance they were starting get piled up with paper. As I began to dig through the program it seemed to be a great fit for what we were wanting. I’m very excited at the outlook for our department with Fixx on our side! Thanks for allowing even free users so much functionality! It’s greatly appreciated!
