Welcome back to our new series: Fiix Customer Voices! In these posts, we’ll be showcasing CMMS and maintenance stories from Fiix users just like you. Discover how other Fiixers are leveraging Fiix CMMS and driving real results in their maintenance programs.

But first, if you haven’t seen last week’s story with Tony from Bush Brothers & Co, check it out:

Westrock Coffee is on a mission to build a more equitable, sustainable coffee supply chain from farms in Rwanda to production facilities in Arkansas. Leading their maintenance transformation was Marc Roberts (@MarcWBCF), who wears many hats as Maintenance Planner, Fiix Admin, and Inventory Control Specialist.

Marc played a key role in rolling out Fiix CMMS across Westrock, helping maintenance techs get up to speed fast and cut down repair times. With access to real-time data, the team can troubleshoot issues quicker and stay on top of their work order backlog. It’s a great example of how the right tools and teamwork keep operations running smoothly.

Don’t have time for a video? Here’s the Westrock Coffee story at a glance.

Challenges

  • Coordinating maintenance: Westrock needed a centralized system to manage tasks and respond quickly to issues.

  • Training and adoption: With multiple roles and responsibilities, the team required comprehensive onboarding to confidently use Fiix CMMS.

  • Managing complexity: The team needed easy access to real-time data to stay ahead of issues and make informed decisions.

Solution

  • Data-driven planning with Fiix CMMS: Marc used daily dashboard reviews and weekly triage meetings to stay on top of new requests and scheduled work orders.

  • Simplified onboarding and teamwork: Marc set up roles, coordinated training, and encouraged open communication to keep teams aligned.

  • Quick peer support: He leaned on The Fiixers community and Help Desk for immediate answers when questions came up.

Results

  • Simplified workflows: Maintenance data was consolidated into a user-friendly system accessible to the entire team.

  • Smarter communication: Training and collaboration improved how team members shared updates and resolved issues.

  • Operational ownership: Technicians became more efficient and adaptable, boosting productivity and supporting continuous improvement.

Westrock Coffee’s maintenance success reminds us that our teams are our most important assets.

We hope this post inspires you to see how collaboration can take your maintenance strategy to the next level 🔥
