Last Monday, November 16th, Rockwell hosted its annual Automation Fair 2025 in Chicago, welcoming 10,000+ attendees from around the world. Fiix CMMS was proud to be part of it with 25+ team members running labs, hosting sessions, and engaging with partners and customers on how to make maintenance more connected.
On to the highlights!
Hands-on labs: The Fiix team taught attendees how to integrate smart devices with FactoryTalk Optix and Fiix CMMS to bring OT data into maintenance workflows and trigger condition-based maintenance.
Customer success session: Daikin shared how they standardized maintenance across thousands of assets and hundreds of thousands of work orders using Fiix CMMS, and how they’re planning for AI-driven prescriptive maintenance moving forward.
Advanced sessions: The Fiix team hosted two advanced sessions this year. During the “Integrate Smart Devices to Logix, FactoryTalk Optix, FactoryTalk View and Cloud Applications Using Libraries” session, we demonstrated how Application Code Libraries make it easy to connect Logix controllers, FactoryTalk Optix, and smart devices to cloud apps like Fiix CMMS.

The “Enable Condition-based and Predictive Maintenance Using Industrial Protocols” session showcased how to get machine status and meter readings into Fiix CMMS and Fiix Asset Risk Predictor (ARP) using open protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, and EtherNet/IP.
Innovation booth: We showcased Fiix Maintenance Copilot, our upcoming conversational AI embedded into Fiix CMMS. We had amazing conversations around predictive maintenance, integrations, and moving away from legacy systems.
