We’ve explored the trending topic of artificial intelligence (AI) in past posts like this one, where we specifically looked at how AI is set to benefit maintenance teams moving forward. AI has been a game changer in maintenance operations--especially in predictive maintenance (PdM).

Now, in this brand-new article, we’re asking: What’s hype and what’s real?

We break down what AI can and can’t do in PdM, with insights from our subject matter experts. Read the full post to find out what’s truly predictive, and what’s just marketed that way.

Very good article. I think first thing on the list is to integrate machine data with Fiix, what I am proud of how my company did it with our integration partner. When you have the data in the system it is big benefit, AI without data can't do much.

If we speak about Condition Based Monitoring, it makes huge difference if meter reading data is manually inserted in the system or it is integrated with the machine in real time.

That is why I consider integration with machine is the first step towards to AI driven maintenance.

Totally agree, @abracic. Integrations are truly a before-and-after moment for maintenance teams.
