We’re sharing our tips on how to progressively improve the quality and level of detail in your work orders so that they’re top-notch 👌 in 5 stages.

Stage 2 of 5

 

Goal: Include relevant steps, instructions and visual aids to make completing work orders easier. Once work is completed ensuring relevant completion notes and follow up images post-repair are available for future reference.

Incentive: Work orders are easy to reference for new hires, are more likely to pass audits, and are able to be analyzed by Fiix Foresight to generate your work order insights report to track trends & look for outliers.

 

✅ Tasks and task groups 

  • Added to all scheduled maintenance.

  • Added to reactive work orders where relevant.

 

✅ Relevant documents and visual aids

  • Relevant pictures or other files i.e. drawings, schematics are added to all scheduled maintenance.

 

✅ Completion notes

  • Added to all work orders.

  • Images are added to closed work orders where relevant (easiest when using the mobile app).
