The Field Inspection: Customer success stories (part 1)

Back in October 2023, we held our 3rd annual user conference, Fiix Forward, in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference wasn’t just our chance to tell you about what we’ve been doing as a company, but it’s true purpose was to give you, our community, a chance to feel heard, seen, and understood.  As part of that promise, we conducted interviews, where individuals like you shared their maintenance troubles, triumphs, and resilience that led to their success. Those stories have been captured and will be shared with our customers in hopes that others will be inspired. With that being said, we are excited to share our first two videos of the series:  JJ McDonnell Co. Building on our field inspection stories, where industry professionals just like you share their maintenance challenges, victories, and the perseverance that paved their path to success, we bring you part 2 of the interviews conducted at Fiix Forward!We hope these stories can spark inspiration for all Fiixers, regardless of where you are in your journey. Daikin ComfortJoel is an excellent motivator, successfully leading his team through the process and organizational challenges that come with new software.  Before implementing Fiix the team was challenged with incomplete data sets and manual parts tracking. This left them with huge gaps in reporting financial spending, making capital and maintenance planning hard.  Luckily Joel and his team found solace in the Fiix CMMS. He stressed that Fiix helped the team get into the habit of tracking things in the CMMS. Sustainability and the State of Smart Manufacturing

Rockwell Automation recently released their 9th annual State of Smart Manufacturing Report, and it has some surprising things to say about sustainability. Of all the firms across many industries surveyed, a full 98% of them said that they had some form of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policy. Of course, not all policies are created equally:48% have a formal, company-wide sustainability or ESG policy 39% have a formal sustainability or ESG policy at some locations 11% have informal policies but no official stanceWhere does your team fit in? Do you have a policy, and if so, what kind? The sustainable ideal is to standardize your approach to sustainability with a formal, company-wide ESG policy. Fortunately, this year’s SoSM reveals that those with formal policies is up 8% over last year’s results, so the space as a whole is moving in the right direction. Get the free report here This year’s report also has some interesting things to say about where manufacturers’ priorities
